Android update won't download or install

Android updates need at least 3GB of free storage and a stable WiFi connection. The update can't download or install if you don't have enough space. Free up storage, make sure you're on WiFi (not mobile data), and plug in your phone before trying again.

Android system updates need two things: enough free storage space and a good WiFi connection. The update downloads first, then needs extra space to install. If storage is too full, the update will fail. Mobile data blocks large system updates, and a bad connection can interrupt the download.
