Tablet not charging or charging very slowly
Slow or no charging on a tablet is almost always caused by a loose charging port, a damaged cable, or the wrong power adapter. Try a different USB cable first. If that doesn't work, try a different power adapter.
Your tablet charges through a USB port that can get loose, corroded, or damaged from heavy use. It also needs the right amount of power. A weak charger or a damaged cable won't deliver enough energy to charge quickly. The quickest test is trying a different cable and charger.

- Using a phone charger for a tablet. Phones draw 5W while tablets need 10W or more, so charging is extremely slow
- Not wiggling the cable gently to check if the port is loose. A loose port is a sign of internal damage
- Forcing the cable into the port hard. This damages the connector further
