Android phone stuck in headphone mode with no headphones plugged in

Your phone has a tiny sensor inside the headphone jack that tells it when headphones are plugged in. That sensor got stuck thinking something is plugged in. We'll try to clear it by plugging headphones in and out a few times, and checking to see if something is stuck in the jack. If nothing works, the sensor itself will need replacement.

Every Android phone has a headphone jack sensor that detects when headphones are inserted. If that sensor gets stuck or wet, your phone thinks headphones are always plugged in even when they're not. We'll try to jiggle it loose, clean out the jack, and reset the sensor. If the jack was wet, your phone needs time to dry out completely.
