Notification sounds stopped playing even though volume is up
Either Do Not Disturb is on, the volume for notifications is muted separately, or notification sounds are disabled for that app. Check Do Not Disturb first. If it's on, turn it off. If it's off, go to Settings → Sound and vibration and make sure notification volume is up.
Notification sounds can be silenced even when your ringer is on, because Android controls them separately. Do Not Disturb can also mute notifications specifically. We'll check these settings one by one to get your notifications sounding again.
