What are Developer Options on Android and when to use them
Developer Options are advanced settings in Android meant for people writing software and fixing code. Not for everyday use. You turn them on by tapping Build Number seven times in Settings → About Phone, but you'll only need them if someone tells you to for troubleshooting, or if you're connecting your phone to a computer for development work.
Developer Options are powerful settings that let you see how your phone works under the hood. They're hidden in Android because turning them on by accident doesn't break anything, but changing the settings inside them can cause problems if you don't know what you're doing. Most people never need them, but IT support and developers use them all the time for troubleshooting and testing.
