Mobile data not working but WiFi is fine
Mobile data is turned off on your phone or your SIM card isn't being read properly. Go to Settings → Mobile networks and check that mobile data is turned on. If it is, restart your phone. This almost always fixes the problem.
Your phone uses either mobile data from your carrier or WiFi to connect to the internet. If WiFi works but mobile data doesn't, something is wrong with the cellular connection on your phone or with the SIM card. It's a simple fix. Just turning mobile data back on or restarting the phone.
