Mobile data not working after switching SIM cards
Your phone isn't connecting to the carrier's mobile data network yet. Restart your phone to let it fully recognize the new SIM card. This works for most people. If it doesn't, go to Settings → Mobile networks and check that your carrier is selected and data is enabled.
When you put in a new SIM card, your phone needs a restart to recognize it and load the carrier's settings. Until then, it can make calls but can't access mobile data. A simple restart gets everything working in a few minutes.

- Forgetting to restart after inserting the SIM. This is the single most common fix
- Checking mobile data is on without restarting first. Restart always comes first
