Two-factor authentication is locking you out

Check for your backup recovery codes first. Password manager, printed sheet, or notes. If you can't find them, look for 'Try another way' on the login page. If nothing works, contact the service's support with a photo ID.

Two-factor is designed to block anyone without your phone. Including you if you've lost it. Your backup codes are the fastest way in. If you don't have those, most services offer alternative verification. If everything fails, support can confirm your identity manually.
